Hey everyone, BB back with another edition of our
non-award winning, often neglected blog for ya.
non-award winning, often neglected blog for ya.
First off, if you're a regular here, you know
that Terminator Motorsports took the summer off from racing for a few
reasons.
that Terminator Motorsports took the summer off from racing for a few
reasons.
The big reason is that Gilby had to devote his
full attention to his business, Truck Equipment Manufacturing Company (TEMCO).
Due to the economic slowdown business was slow in the spring but with Gilby
turning up the wick and going after some military contracts that he won TEMCO is
quickly gaining ground. We expect to be back at full speed the first quarter of
next year which is good news.

We also spent the summer getting our car
up-graded to the new SEMA specs. for fuel cars. Our car chief Kevin
Fenstermaker hauled it up to Murf McKinney's chassis shop in beautiful
Lafayette, Indiana for the modifications which included bigger upper and lower
frame rails and some other changes to bring it up to spec.

We raced it at the new zMAX Dragway last month
with very encouraging results. Even though we didn't qualify we went down the
track under power all four qualifying runs which brings us up to the present and
we're returning to the IHRA circuit next weekend for the World Finals in near-by
Rockingham and we're optimistically confident
that we'll be able to go out with a bang.

In other news Gilby and the Trick Tank Arenacross
team are on their way out west right now to Las Vegas for this
weekend's, invitational only U.S. Open of Arenacross then it's back across the
country for the World Finals so it's going to be a busy couple of weeks around
here.

Last but not least we'd like to give a shout out
to Andy Kelly and his team. Two wins this year and it couldn't have happened to
a better bunch of folks who are our down I-85 neighbors. Way to
go.

That's it for now, see you at
